A few steps from the masks, the same walls carry mosaics: leaves and vines cut from green bottle glass, with mirror fragments worked in among them. Flat work, but it does not read flat, because every mirror piece is showing you a different slice of the room.

That is the thing worth photographing. Move a foot to either side and the greens hold but the bright bits move, so the leaf seems to shift under its own skin. I took a couple of frames at slightly different angles for exactly that reason.

It is easy to walk past decorative work on the way to the animals. But glass that changes as you move is doing something a carving cannot, and it seemed worth two frames to keep.

Both are the 55 at f/6.8 and ISO 400. Nothing about the settings mattered here; the only variable worth adjusting was where I put my feet.
