The first wildlife of the trip was not the wildlife you plan for. A troop of vervets came through the tree over the lodge, unbothered, doing the thing monkeys do where they are always most of the way to somewhere else.
The 135 at ISO 1600 was the only way to keep up in the shade. You point at a branch, wait, and hope one arrives before the light does something worse. These two were the frames where it worked, one hanging off a thin diagonal, one halfway up the trunk with its tail out for balance.
