The last frame of the Kanazawa days, and of the trip, fell on a bridge at the blue end of dusk. An old green steel truss, lit amber from below so the ironwork glows against a sky that has gone fully blue, the round lamps just coming on along the deck and the river town sitting low behind it.
I liked the collision of colour, the warm sodium light on the steel against the cold of the sky, the wet road throwing a little of both back up. Riveted bridges like this are getting rarer; this one has clearly been looked after.
Handheld at ISO 3200 in the last usable light. A good note to end on, the way a lot of these days ended, somewhere outside at dusk with the lamps coming up. The bridge is the Saigawa Ohashi.
