The same hour at Kenrokuen, but spent looking close instead of wide. A maple in full red, still wet from the afternoon's rain; a pine branch holding a row of drops on its needles; the moss floor laid over with fallen leaves where they fell. The garden reads just as well in pieces as it does in panoramas.
The last frame is the day giving out: a spray of deep red maple at dusk, drops about to drop, the background gone to dark and one stray point of light. After that there was not much daylight left to work with.
You can watch the light go in the EXIF: ISO 400 on the first maple, then 1600, then 12800 by the time the last branch went dark. All wide on the 55, leaning on its close focus.
