The morning had more faces in it than one post could hold. The woman in blue was looking off at something above the horizon, chin up, the earrings and the collar catching the light, and the profile did more than a straight-on frame would have.
The two after her I took from a little further back with the long lens, letting them be together rather than posed. The beadwork is the thing I keep coming back to out here: colours and patterns that clearly mean something specific, age and status and marriage, none of which I can read, all of which photograph beautifully.
The profile is the 55 at base ISO 64; the pair are the 135 from across a few metres at ISO 200. Same morning, two focal lengths, the beadwork holding both frames together.
