Long drives mean fuel stops, and fuel stops are where the trip stops being about scenery for a minute. A rider pulled in at the pumps ahead of us, pink shirt, red bike, the station painted in reds and yellows, the whole thing colour-blocked before I had the camera up.

I took it from the vehicle with the long lens so as not to make a thing of it. Two versions, as usual lately: colour, where the pink and the red do all the work, and black and white, where it becomes the shapes of the pumps and the posts and the rider between them.

Both are the 135 at ISO 100 across the forecourt. Leaving the Natron country for good on this one, headed for the Serengeti.
