The last couple of hours of the drive were the good ones, the sun low enough to put an edge on everything. A giraffe stood off to the side, browsing, unbothered by the vehicles, letting me take my time with it against the hills.
Then the cattle came through. Long horns, driven home for the evening, moving straight at us through grass that was already turning gold. Wildlife and livestock share this country without much fuss, and the light did not care which was which.
The giraffe and the hills are on the 135 at ISO 200, holding the distance. The cattle are the 55 at base ISO as they closed in. The sun was still doing all the work; I just picked where to stand.
