The middle of the afternoon, when there is nothing on the list and you just walk. Two kids in school uniform had picked a spot on the grass with their backs to everything, the bandstand and the towers behind them, somebody else flat out asleep nearby. I left them their privacy and shot from where I was.
Half an hour later the light had dropped enough to rake down a side street, and that was the second frame: a narrow road between a glass tower and a stone wall, one person walking into the sun, a single tree holding the corner. The kind of street you only notice because of how the light is hitting it.
Both on the 55 at f/8, ISO 200, nothing technical to report. The lawn is Hibiya Park, with its open-air bandstand behind the fence.
