Out of the Ginza crowd and indoors for an hour. The first is the kind of thing Tokyo malls do without apology: a cat in a spacesuit riding a rocket through the atrium, the whole void below it strung with hundreds of little red darts. You look up and the building has a sense of humour.
A minute later, a few steps away, the opposite. A travertine staircase lit warm and low, glass balustrade, a wall of greenery glowing through the gap in the stairs. Same hour, same block, no noise at all.
Both are inside Ginza Six, a minute and a couple of floors apart. Both handheld at ISO 3200, which the X2D's sensor takes in stride indoors.
