The first frame of this whole run was the Skytree seen small from a bridge across the river. On the last full day I went back and went up, so it felt right to give the tower itself a post. The opener here is the same icon shot honestly: gold in the low sun, but with a black construction crane and a hoarded lot sharing the frame, because that is what is actually around it.
Then the tower up close. Straight up the white lattice to the bulged deck, and a strange interior shaft lit deep blue, all crossed steel running away from you. After dark, from the base, the whole thing was lit green and gold against a black sky.
You can read the day draining out of the EXIF: ISO 100 in the late sun, then 800, 1600, and 12800 once it was just the tower's own lights. The blue shaft in the third frame is the inside of the Skytree itself, its structure looking up.
