Bowness on a soft grey morning, before the boats fill up. The phone box sits on a bend above the village, and from there the roofs step down toward the water with the fells going up behind them. Standard-issue Lakeland, but the red box against all that green earns its keep.
Five minutes downhill, a Triumph Stag was parked by the Belsfield hedge in almost exactly the same red. I did not plan the pairing, but two frames on the card had the same colour doing the same job, so here they are together.
Shot on the 55 both times, which is not a wide lens for a village, so this is more about picking one thing out of the scene than taking the whole street in.
