One afternoon, one stretch of shore, and the sky changing its mind every ten minutes. The foreshore was half under water from the rain, the cloud sitting low on the far fells, and then for a few seconds the sun found a gap and lit the jetty up like it had been waiting all day to do it.
The jetties are the through-line here. Two of them, one dark and squat on its pilings, one running long and clean into the light. The last frame I kept in black and white: a bare tree rooted in the stones with the boats behind it, and the colour was doing nothing for it, so I took the colour away.
Base ISO throughout, which the X2D rewards, even on a flat grey day like this one.
